Bloomington Board of REALTORS®
The Bloomington Board of REALTORS® is a professional trade association representing REALTORS® in Monroe and Owen Counties, Indiana. Chartered in 1947, the Board maintains affiliations with the National and Indiana Associations of REALTORS®, and the many institutes, societies and councils that offer professional accreditation to its members. The Board and its members maintain at the core of their activities the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, the first of its kind among professional trade associations. Bloomington Board of REALTORS® consists of 400 REALTOR® members, including real estate brokers, agents, and appraisers, and another 60 Affiliate members who provide services to the real estate community. Bloomington Board of REALTORS® is the sole shareholder of its two subsidiary companies, Bloomington Multiple Listing Service, Inc. and BBOR Publications, Inc.

The REALTOR® community offers professional designations in a number real estate fields. Any of these designations following a REALTOR's name indicates his or her commitment to furthering their expertise in the practice of real estate. Bloomington MLS, Inc.
Bloomington MLS is the parent company overseeing BBOR's online multiple listing service, homefinder.org. Recognized as a pioneer in MLS technology, homefinder.org was one of the nation's first Internet-based MLSs, taking its database online in 1997. In 2001 homefinder.org was recognized by REALTOR® Association Executive Magazine as one of the top Internet-based MLSs in the U.S. Contained in this massive database are listings from Monroe and Owen Counties (IN), as well as from communities in the south-central Indiana metropolitan statistical area.
